Senior Year

Its senior year at last. It came way too fast for me and it kinda scares me a bit.

Marching Band is yet again consuming my life a little more than it should, but I've know that it would for 4 years. I have that feeling that I cant wait for band to end because it is just annoying now. Probably because I dont want to admit that its my last year, but in any case, I just want it to be over. Senior chords were given out before The Preview of Bands. Thats way early and I wasnt expecting it at all. Its a little weird having that on my shoulder and marching with it and knowing that I'm a senior.

Blossom has taken over my life too. It seems like there is always a concert going on and drunk people there to cheer on the band. There has been 3 rock concerts in the last 5 days, and that doesnt include the orchestras. I like working there, but it sucks when its during band stuff and I have to go there straight after and not get home until past midnight. But having my own money for once gives me the feeling that I'm kind of in control of my own life.

Physical therepy. Thats what I want to go to college for. I know so much about it already and it would be amazing to have a job in that field. Its always in demand and the pay isnt bad either. But I have no clue whatsoever where I'm going to go to college. I've been working hard the past 4 years and I hope that its good enough but I dont think it will be. The future for college really really scares me. I'm afraid I wont get into a college and I'll end up working at McDonalds. But my parents would never let that happen to me.

Thats it for now. I dont ever use this anymore because no one else really does.

Arizona is almost here and I cannot wait. I cant wait to get away from Ohio for a few days and get away from my dysfucnctional family. And my roomies are still the best

I'm home from OMUN!!!!!!

It was so much fun, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I learned so much more than I thought I would and I will take the experience with me forever. I thought that this weekend would be boring and I wouldnt learn anything and I'd be glad to go home Saturday, but I was way wrong. Everyone there had amazing resolutions, whether they were good or bad(sanctioning God....enough said). There was over 1,200 kids there from all over. Even New York...Amazing? I think so! I was thinking about what we could have done different this year and I only came up with one thing : cosutumes. But who cares that we didnt match? Its not like we looked out of place since everyone(almost) had costumes on from different countries. It was simply amazing.

Plus, I met people from different schools. And the people that we sat with during General Assembly were amazingly funny and they were so nice. Maybe it helped that they were also in band...? But there was only 4 of them and 6 of us so we over-powered lol. By the end of General Assembly I pretty much went "Do we like this one guys?" And Niki, Alex, Steve, Haley, or Julia would go "Yes" or No". The funny ones were these:

Me-"Do we like this one?"
Steve-"We like this one because the girls are hott!!!"
*holds the sign up for yes*

Me-"Do we like this one?"
Niki-"No, the person is scary!!!"

Me-"We're going to "Obstain" this one."
Niki-"NO! WE ARE NEVER GOING TO OBSTAIN! WE ALWAYS HAVE TO VOTE YES OR NO!"
Me-"Why?"
Niki-"Because we're from Zambia!!!"

Me-"Do we like this one?"
Haley-"They havent even read the resolution yet...."
Me-"Oh....well lets decide anyways."

Mike(one of the guys from the other school)-"We're saying "no" since you guys are saying "yes"."
Me-"Even though its a good resoution?"
Mike-"Yeah, pretty much"
*holds the sign up for yes* lol

Niki-"We're voting "no" because these people are against black people"
Alex-"They're against me!!!! AHH!"

Mike-"I'm writing a speech against this one!"
*points to a random one*
*when we get to that number*
Mike-"What?! It's non-debatable!? I wrote this for nothing!?"

Gary-(another guy that was sitting at our table)- "You have to stand up and raise the sign Mike..."
Mike-"I dont feel like standing up."
Gary-"Fine, I will."
*hold the sign up*

Haha, the people at our table were so much fun to be around. Although towards the end, we just didnt even care what was voted yes or no so we pretty much just went by their title...lol. Although I still feel bad about Davids group and everything, but its over now. But it was SO much fun and I'm really looking forward to next year despite all of my seniors being gone

Oh and the dance was amazing. It was nothing but rap songs and about 2 normal songs. We had a black DJ . Enough said. Oh and if no one has seen David Zach dance, you need to. He's the whitest dancer ever....Oh and Amanda Base, YOU NEED TO DANCE NEXT TIME!!! Although me and David attempting to do part of the band dance(the arm part) just doesnt work out...We go the opposite way lol.

I had a great time and I will always remember this!!! Congrats to everyone at our school that got awards!!!! I feel like our school got the most awards....I think we did?? Tell me if I'm right!!!
